Reports and Accounts

Reports play a key part in Exivity. Once data has been processed by a Trasformer and loaded into the system, one or more reports are created to 'slice and dice' the data however you wish. Accounts are determined by the columns specified in the report creation step.

A report is hierarchical in that the first column is termed level 1 and each subsequent column increases the level by 1. For example, a hierarchy of Reseller, Customer,Department will group the charges by those columns.

This hierarchy of the Accounts is also reflected in the ability to drill down into your metered IT consumption costs. The values you can zoom into correspond to that hierarchy.
